Description

wandering around the old railroad and under the bridges i happen upon many disgarded things. this old destroyed board got me thinking about how much we rely on todays technology. i myself try not to rely on such things as much as possible. i dont carry a top of the line phone and im not allways on it. but i have been seduced at times into that world. it is really cool and fun and addicting lol. but we all need to find a balance in things. mabe im gettin old and turning old fashioned idk. but i get to thinking about my son and how he was on the computer from age of 2 and by the age of 6 learned to surf whatever he was thinking of and has greeat interest in how things work like the printer and heck even vacumes wer his thing for a cou[ple of years and hed watch and repeat consumer reports lol.. anyway the point is if your not taught how to live without these technologies at this point then whats gona happen to the world and the future generations when or if something bad really happens and they cant rely on this stuff and wer never taught how to live otherwise? the world will come to a screaching hault and in the mass confusion it may just trigger the END of the world.. just a thought!

Just look at the confusion and chaos from super storm Sandy caused and before that Hurricane Katrina and before that 9/11 with the power outages from the falling of the World Trade Center Towers. I agree with you that we are too dependent on technology...I don't know how we can reverse things or even if it possible to do so, but we need to re-learn how to live without this new stuff and it has to start with US not our kids--they need to learn it from us and see the value and importance of self-reliance.

Thought provoking piece
